General Information about “Short and sweet” cycling tour

The “Short and sweet” cycling tour is a definitely something that all cycle fans will appreciate. It is a shorter version of our tours but it combines cycling between the cities, on the islands and also in the hinterland. The cycling tour will show you simply the best of Zadar region in the 3 days of cycling and the itinerary will give you the freedom to tweak it as you wish on the given day. The freedom that a self guided cycling tour provides is really priceless. Cycle through the heart of Dalmatia with ease and care free!!!

The highlights on this cycling tour are:

Day 1

Zadar airport – Zadar (hotel)

Transfer from the Zadar airport to the hotel in Zadar. Transfer max. 25 minutes. Our staff will be on the airport for airport assistance.

Day 2

Zadar – Nin
Tour lenght: 46.1 km / Elevation: 368 meters

On the first day of this cycling tour we will visit the ancient cities of Zadar and Nin. Magnificent views on the Adriatic sea and Velebit mountain on the other will leave you breathless.  Once arrived in Nin, you will also have the possibility to cycle around the picturesque villages that surrounds Nin. After lunch in Nin you will cycle back to Zadar to.A superb road going by the sea with a view on the 3000 years old city of Zadar is something you shouldn’t miss. Hopefully, you will arrive just in time for the most beautiful sunset in the world. The sunsets in Zadar are something to remember for a life time.

Day 3

Route: Zadar – Ugljan island – Pašman island 
Tour lenght: 72 km / Elevation: 836 meters

On the 3rd day of this cycling tour  is really a true pleasure. You will cycle on the islands of Ugljan and Pašman which are connected with a beautiful bridge. Beautiful scenery and great landscape will follow you all day long. The bike route goes through the narrow streets of small island villages like Ugrinić, Poljana, Pašman, Kali etc… Even the ferry ride going from Zadar to Ugljan island offers superb views on Zadar sea canal, islands and the old city of Zadar.

Day 4

Route: Zadar – Biograd – “Vrana” nature park
Tour lenght: 50.9 km / Elevation: 526 meters

On the last day of the cycling tour we prepared something special. You will have a private transfer that will take you to Biograd (transfer 30 minutes). The cycling tour  starts from Biograd to the Park of Nature „Vrana“ and it  is a bike route that all the locals from Biograd are using. It goes all the way up to the view point called Kamenjak on 260 meters high hill. The climb is very well worth because from there you will have a stunning view on the lake Vrana and the islands of Kornati as well the islands of  Zadar archipelago.The way back will be a great descend from the hill all the way to Biograd.

Day 5

Zadar (hotel) – Zadar airport
Our cycling tour has come to an end. Transfer from the hotel in Zadar to Zadar airport. Transfer max. 25 minutes. Our staff will be on the airport for airport assistance.
