Day 1

Zadar airport – Biograd

Transfer from Zadar airport to Biograd (transfer max. 25 minutes)

Day 2

Route: Biograd – Pakoštane – Vrana lake nature park – Biograd
Tour lenght: 50.9 km / Elevation: 526 meters

Second day of this self guided cycling tour you will explore Vrana Lake Nature Park. With its 30km2 of surface this is the largest Croatian lake. There are 256 bird species in the ornithologocal reserve and more than 100 000 birds spend winter on the lake. While cycling around the park, don’t miss Kamenjak viewpoint from which you will enjoy the magnificent view over the whole lake, but also the Adriatic sea and numerous islands. Also, there we will organise for you a tasting of local homemade products.

Day 3

Route: Biograd – sv. Filip i Jakov – Gorica – nadin – Polača – Biograd
Tour lenght: 55.2 km / Elevation: 545 meters

Today you ride to Zadar hinterland and find out why this tour is called Zadar region cycling tour. Ravni Kotari is part of Dalmatia where traditional and modern way of life go hand in hand. Cycling around charming small villages you will discover authentic architecture and preserved nature. Today again you will enjoy tasting local food in authentic rural location.

Day 4

Route: Biograd – Benkovac – Skradin – Biograd
Tour lenght: 58.5 km / Elevation: 545 meters

Benkovac is the largest and only urban centre of Ravni Kotari. This town grows fast but at the same time manages to preserve the best from its interesting history. From Benkovac you ride to Skradin – dynamic town with charming, narrow streets typical for Dalmatian architecture. You will enjoy local cuisine at lunch that we organise for you here at Skradin. In the vicinity of Skradin there is Krka National Park; something you shouldn’t miss on this selfguided tour.

Day 5

Route: Biograd – Tkon – Preko
Tour lenght: 32,5 km / Elevation: 370 meters

Fifth day of Zadar region cycling tour you will discover two islands of Zadar archipelago – Pašman and Ugljan. Your Pašman selfguided adventure starts at Tkon village and continues through the charming little villages situated along the main island road. During this pleasant ride you can stop wherever you like to take a swimm, drink something or enjoy the view. Islands of Pašman and Ugljan are connected with a bridge. While you pedal and discover the beauties of Ugljan, your luggage is transfered to the accomodation in Preko village.

Day 6

Route: Preko – Zadar – Nin – Preko
Tour lenght: 52.5 km / Elevation: 325 meters

After short and pleasant ferry ride you arrive at Zadar. This beautiful city offers so much – 3000 years of turbulent history, cultural monuments, amazing architecture, excellent cuisine and hospitable people. No wonder Zadar was the best European destination in 2016! 19 km away town of Nin waits for you. Once place where Croatian kings were crowned, today it is one of the most interesting tourist destinations in Zadar region. Here you will enjoy tasteful lunch prepared for you.

Day 7

Route: Preko – Muline – Preko
Tour lenght: 32.5 km / Elevation: 447 meters

Back to the island! Preko is the most famous tourist destination on the island with lots of fine restaurants, nice beaches and modern tourist accomodations. Today you ride to the north part of Ugljan island. It is called “olive island” because of numerous olive groves all over the island. Enjoy the landscape and explore hidden beaches and bays.

Preko – Zadar – Zadar airport
Our Zadar region cycling tour has come to an end. Ferry ride to Zadar and transfer to the airport.
